Objective: Bet on the outcome of two dice before "crapping out" (i.e. rolling a 7). The first roll of a round is the come-out roll. Roll a 7 or 11 and the Pass Line wins straight away. Roll a 2, 3, or 12 and it loses. Anything else becomes your point, and you keep rolling the dice until you hit either a 7 or your match point. Hit the point again before a 7 and you win the round. Roll the 7 first and the bet is gone. If you want, make additional bets on single numbers, on the next roll, and against the shooter for more opportunities to win before crapping out.

1. Set your play amount. Enter your SC amount or use the 1/2, x2, and Max shortcuts. This is the value of one chip.
2. Place your bets. Click a spot on the layout to drop a chip there, and click again to stack another. Most players open on the Pass Line. Undo removes your last chip and Clear wipes the felt. Table Amount shows what is riding on the table, and Round Amount shows what you have staked this round.
3. Throw the come-out roll. Press Play Game. The first roll of a round does one of three things, and which one decides whether you are paid immediately, wiped out immediately, or still in it:
4. Chase the point. Once a point is set, only two numbers matter: your point, and 7. Keep rolling.
Any other total resolves nothing on the line, and the dice roll again until the point or the 7 arrives.
5. Back your point with odds. Once the puck reads ON, you can drop extra chips into the Pass Odds strip behind your line bet, and they ride on the exact same result: your point arriving before a 7.
Your original Pass Line chip pays even money at x2.0 whatever the point is, and that mismatch is where its 1.41% edge comes from. The odds chips pay what the number is worth, which is x3.0 on a 4 or 10, x2.5 on a 5 or 9, and x2.2 on a 6 or 8. The house takes nothing from them. It is the only 0% house edge bet on the table, and it exists only while a point is up.
6. Work the rest of the table. The Pass Line and its odds are one position. Everything else on the layout is open to you at the same time. Come bets, Place bets on individual numbers, the Field, the hardways, and the one-roll props are all live while the dice keep rolling. The next section covers what each one does.

Craps is manual by design. There is no Auto mode, because bets change between rolls.
The Pass Line is one chip. The rest of the layout is working alongside it, on its own rules, and a single roll can settle several bets at once.
Come and Don't Come. These are the Pass Line's twin, started mid-round. Drop a chip on COME and the next roll becomes that chip's private come-out: a 7 or 11 wins it, a 2, 3, or 12 loses it, and any other number becomes its own come point. The chip then moves up into that number's box along the top of the layout, and from there it wins if its number rolls before a 7. You can have several Come bets working on different numbers at the same time, and each one takes its own odds behind it at true odds and zero house edge. That is how you cover several numbers without touching a prop.
Place bets. A chip on Place 4 through Place 10 is a flat bet that its number rolls before a 7. It ignores the point and sits there working.
The Field. This one settles on every roll. The dice land and your Field chip either pays or is gone.
Hardways. A bet that a number turns up as a double before it turns up the easy way or a 7 shows. Hard 8 needs 4 and 4, so a 6 and 2 loses it.
One-roll props. Seven, Eleven, Three Craps, Any Craps, Snake Eyes, and Box Cars are decided by the next roll, win or lose, and then they are done.
Sevening out clears the felt. A single 7 during the point phase pays the Seven prop and any Don't bets, and in the same moment it takes down the Pass Line, every Come bet, every Place bet, and every hardway on the table.
Acebet posts payouts as a total-return multiplier rather than as odds. An x2.0 spot returns your play amount plus the same again, which is an even-money 1 to 1 bet. An x3.0 spot returns triple, which is 2 to 1. Turn on tooltips and every spot on the layout will show you its multiplier before you commit a chip.
Two dice make 36 possible combinations. Seven has six of them, more than any other total, which is why it ends the point phase and why every number bet is priced against it. The totals at the edges are rare, and the payouts on them look generous until you set them beside how often they land.

Seven is the worst bet on the table. It pays 4 to 1 on the single most likely roll in the game, whose true odds are 5 to 1, and the game keeps the difference on every hit.
Place 6 and Place 8 are the best of the number bets at 1.52%, because 6 and 8 are the most common numbers after 7 and Acebet pays them at x2.17.

A hardway means the double: a hard 8 is 4 and 4, not 6 and 2. There is only one way to roll it and many ways to lose it, which is where the 9.09% comes from.
The Odds bet is the only wager in any casino that carries no house edge at all. It becomes available once a point is set, and it sits behind your Pass Line or Don't Pass chip.
