Slot Battles are a PvP format built around the bonus buy mechanic. Every player in a battle buys into the same bonus round on the same slot, and whoever's bonus pays out the highest dollar amount wins the entire combined pot. All bonus rounds run simultaneously on one screen, so you're watching your own round unfold while tracking everyone else's in real time.
Acebet runs three distinct slot battle modes:
Normal Mode: Baseline format. Highest dollar payout wins the pot.
Crazy Mode: Reverse of baseline format. Player with the lowest total payout wins.
Group Mode: Team format where players combine scores with their teammates. The highest team total wins. Winnings are split evenly among the winning team's members.
Open battles are listed in the slot battles lobby with the game, mode, player count, and buy cost visible. Click "Join" on any available battle. The entry cost is whatever bonus buy amount the creator set, so what you see is what you pay.
Once all player slots are filled, the battle starts automatically. Every player's bonus round runs at the same time, all visible on one screen. When a player's bonus round finishes, their payout is locked and displayed.
In Normal mode, the player with the highest dollar payout from their bonus round takes the combined pot from all entries.
In Crazy mode, the lowest payout wins.
In Group mode, teammates' payouts are added together and the highest team total wins, with the prize split evenly between team members. If two players finish with an identical payout, a random tiebreaker determines the winner. There is no platform fee on human-only battles: the winner receives 100% of the combined pot.
If you don't want to wait for players to join, you can call bots to fill any or all open slots and start the battle immediately. A 1% fee applies to bot payouts to cover provider costs. There are no other fees.

In Normal mode, the Hacksaw titles tend toward higher variance, meaning bigger swings between a weak bonus and a strong one. In Crazy mode, that same variance works against you. A Hacksaw slot that can pay 5,000x can also pay 10x, and in Crazy mode you're not controlling which one you get. Lower-variance Pragmatic Play titles give you more predictable outputs, which in Crazy mode is closer to a strategic edge than anything else this format offers.
