How to play Gladius: Death Or Glory

Walk onto the sand of the Roman arena where every shield that falls hides a coin value, a multiplier, or a collector symbol waiting to be revealed. Land enough shields and the bonus round begins, locking every shield in place across respins that reset with each new arrival. Collectors gather the total and multipliers push it toward 15,000x your stake. Gladius: Death Or Glory is a high volatility, coin-collect slot from Hacksaw Gaming. It uses a 5x5 grid where Shield symbols land and reveal coin values, multipliers, or collector symbols. Landing enough scatters or specific Shield outcomes triggers a Hold-and-Win bonus where Shields become sticky and respins reset with new Shield landings. Fully charging the bonus round with coins and multipliers can award up to 15,000x your stake. Here is how you play.

Pick your stake and start a spin on the 5x5 grid.
Watch for Shield symbols to land and reveal coin values, multipliers, or collectors.
Land enough scatter symbols to trigger the Hold-and-Win bonus round.
In the bonus, Shields become sticky and new Shields reset the respin counter.
Collect coin values with multipliers and collector symbols to build your total.
Use Bonus stake to purchase direct entry into the Hold-and-Win bonus round.

Key mechanics

Coin Collect System: Shields land and reveal coin values, then collector symbols or persistent bonus rules gather all visible coin values for a payout.
Hold-and-Win Bonus: Triggered by scatters or specific Shield conditions, Shields that land become sticky, and the player gets a series of spins where new Shields can land, coins are added, and collectors or multipliers amplify the total.
Cash Collector: When revealed by a Shield, this symbol collects all visible coin values on the grid.
Multipliers: Revealed by Shields, these multiply the total value of all collected coins or boost future collections.
Sticky Shields: Once a Shield lands in the bonus, it stays in place and continues to participate in collections and multipliers.
Bonus stake: These options let the player pay an upfront stake multiple to access special modes or instant bonus rounds.

Bonus rounds

Core Hold-and-Win Bonus (scatter symbols and/or specific Shield outcomes): In this bonus, Shields become sticky. New Shield landings add coins, collectors, and multipliers. The feature effectively retriggers by resetting the respin counter whenever new Shields land.
