How to play Phoenix DuelReels

Watch two mythical beasts collide above a 5x4 grid where every card rank and creature icon can trigger their battle. Your goal is to land a VS symbol inside a winning line: it expands across the reel, and the Phoenix and Water Dragon duel for control. The victor's multiplier applies to that entire reel and every win running through it. Phoenix DuelReels is a medium volatility, fixed-payline slot from Hacksaw Gaming. Wins form from left to right on adjacent reels, and the DuelReels mechanic triggers when a VS symbol lands in a winning line. It expands across the reel, and the Phoenix and Water Dragon duel for control. The victor's multiplier applies to that entire reel and every win running through it. Here is how you play.

Pick a stake and spin the 5x4 grid.
Watch for matching symbols on adjacent reels from left to right.
Land a VS symbol as part of a winning combination to trigger the DuelReels mechanic.
The VS symbol expands to cover the entire reel, and a duel between the Phoenix and Water Dragon begins.
The winning creature's multiplier applies to that reel and any win that includes it.
If multiple DuelReels are part of the same winning combination, their multipliers add together before being applied.

Key mechanics

DuelReels: A VS symbol that lands as part of a winning line expands to fill the reel, then a duel between the Phoenix and the Water Dragon decides which multiplier applies to that expanded reel.
Expanded DuelReels: When a VS symbol in a winning line expands to fill its reel, the surviving multiplier from the duel applies across the whole reel.
Combined multipliers: If more than one DuelReel is involved in the same winning combination, their multipliers are added together before being applied.
